Sorry for offtopic, but are there any best products for beige interior like carpet, seats, doors, dash etc. Something top notch like menzerna and power lock only for interior? I think I need a "carpet correction" since it hasn't been done since 2014.

Ahh, I meant Purple Foam cutting pad!

With this combination (Purple Foam, Menzerna FG400, and Griot's Garage), I can get away with 90% clean paintwork, then clean up the last 10% with Menzerna SF4500 on black foam pad.

If you are looking at cleaning your carpets, just something easy like Meguiar's APC will do the trick. For everything else, I only use 1Z Cockpit Premium!

For my leather, honestly, since they are coated anyways, a clean MF dampened with lukewarm water will work just fine. But if you want an actual product, then look into Swissvax Leather Cleaner.

Sounds like wash, clay bar, then what pads/compounds?

I need an idiots guide to detailing a black car. First one I've owned.
From my experience, detailing black car ultimately depends on your OCD level of clean paintwork.

The best way I learned to not incure marring and scratches when drying the paintwork after a wash is to WAX WHILST WET method.

Wash the vehicle, blow dry most of the water, then apply your favorite liquid wax with an applicator foam pad. Then buff or wipe with a good quality microfiber cloth.

Thanks P1et! You seem to have a good knowledge when it comes to keeping it shine and clean
Going to order on amazon or ebay

Or you can support our sponsor, Detailer's Domain! That's where I get all my detailing supplies from... And I think there's a discount somewhere for being a member on this forum.

Anyone try ceramic coatings? Always seeing post about R1 Coating on Facebook. Has anyone tried it or recommend something similar?

I've been thinking about ceramic coating my 350z, but I'm hesitant because if it isn't put on correctly it requires a lot of buffing to remove it. I've been using blackfire sealant on my x5 and my 350z for years and have been extremely happy with the sealant. It usually lasts for about 4-6 weeks. I think most ceramic coats last for 1-2 years but you also have to maintain the coating with sprays.

I just had my X5 ceramic coated with Nanolex. It was done just a few weeks ago, but I can say that the vehicle has stayed noticeably cleaner and was a breeze to wash.

I ceramic coated mine myself using CarPro UK 3.0.
I did a full paint correction first than applied it.
It makes cleaning the car easier, but don't believe the ads you see on Facebook etc...
you should still use a two bucket method for washing when you can.

Just bought cquartz 3.0 leather sealer. Looking forward to getting it on the interior, once it’s warmer!
