This is the first time I've seen this product but it looks nice. Can you explain the remote control? So when I'm cruising around conserving gas use the eco button on the remote then say I need to beat a car off the line at a traffic light I simply push the tune button for the added performance?

Yes, that's exactly right. And when you press "eco" on the remote, it actually just turns off the tune and puts the vehicle in whichever mode you have it in (sport, comfort, etc). The build quality is also extremely nice. The box is made of aluminum rather than plastic like most of the others. For the money, there's not another HP increase like this one.

I see...so once the "tune" button is pushed no matter what mode you're in (eco, comfort, sport) it takes over the hp/tq increase is present?

Exactly. The “tune” button overrides the factory tune at that point. It has different settings, the recommended being level 6. There’s a very noticeable gain off the line and through the mid range. I haven’t turned it up past 6. I’m hoping someone else will buy the other one, turn it to 10, and tell me all about it! Haha

ha ha I might be your man. Are you running standard gapped OEM plugs with your tune?

I am. I probably need to change plugs next month when I hit 60k, but I’ve been running stock for about 10k miles with no issues.

Good to know as I just got mine replaced today and didn't shorten the gap as most recommend when upping the boost.

What's the story? How did you end up with 2 of them? I'm just down the road from you in PI. On the fence about doing a tune but for that much hp increase for that little money it is tempting. Do you have this loaded on your X5? Can you tell a significant difference?
