Differential fluid change

Gang;

Been searching but find little on when one swaps out the differential oil.
Anyone here have any thoughts to when this might occur?

On my former e39 M5, I performed this every 50K or so as I did with the 'Life Time' 6 speed fluid. No problems with them or the engine until @ 305,000 miles, where the timing chain succumbed to the chain guides (or lack there of).

Thx

It's technically lifetime but 60-75k is a good place to start.

Same thing actually. Technically lifetime but ya the ZF makers recommend it to be changed as stated above.

i'm on 67000 KM and have a feeling that my shifting issues are related to tranny fluid, i will know on wednesday next week when they try to sort out the bad shifting pattern on mine.

I would think most shifting issues are due to fluid first.

They will unplug the xfer case controller to see if that resolves any unusual behavior. They put a brand new xfer case in my 2016 at 35k miles. Maybe you have same issue.
