So does the screen show up with brackets below the acc distance display on the screen? It should after VO coding.

When exactly do you see errors? When you start the car, or press acc-down button?

What exactly is the error you are getting?

While you are getting an error, have you tried removing and reattaching the Quidzel chip?

Yes, it’s just not engaging. Seems to be setup right if you get till here without errors. You may need to code the speed limits it get activated at.

It needs a car in front to engage, lanes to be detectable and speed limits to be met. Be careful on turns or if the car infront decides to exit a highway.

Did you use the FDL codes that were talked about in this thread? Or did you use something different to reference cuz I copy and pasted everything I found mentioned here and applied it and I still get an error when I press the button. when I get time I'm going to go back in and check them all again one by one to verify as it's been a couple months since I first coded it and installed.

Also by saying FDL I'm referring to using BimmerCode to do so which all of the codes mentioned on page 8 are doable via BimmerCode. I know Quidzel says it can't be don't so I'm curious as to what "modules" they're saying can't be reached via BimmerCode cuz that's all I've tried

Ya that's what I was afraid of. I still haven't given esys a try yet. Hard enough time getting it to be legible on my 4K display. Everything is so squished

It worked when a car was in front. Thanks for all your help!

It works well in lower speeds but disengages quite a bit at high speeds.

Yeah, it's literally a Traffic Jam Assist

I do not really trust it above 60 km/h - it's starts to float in the lane and disengages in the corners.

Did you use bimmercode app to code? I tried it but could not find codes pertaining to ICM Module, thus wondering.

Alright well read that the free token generator was turning into a pumpkin on 12/31 so decided to get into it finally with my day off. Was quite a bit easier than I expected. Decided to hold off in FA/VO coding just yet and just check all the FDL. I did actually find 1 that was not done correctly or at all so I fixed it and am now just letting the car sit for a few. Wish me luck.

Ya me too. Every time I've been in traffic since installing the Quidzel I've kicked myself for not having it working yet lol. Especially when transiting to and from the DC area.

I did have 2 errors in the dash I couldn't get cleared using ESYS though before I shut down. So hoping they go away tomorrow morning when I start her up. Also trying to find a solid source for ISTA at the moment. Found one thread in the F80 forum but it's all links to Russian sites and I don't feel comfortable with that whole situation lol.

Still doesn't work. Guess my next step is to just VO code everything. Doesn't make sense that I would have to VO code and FDL code as the cheat sheet suggests. Idk I was really trying to avoid this so that I didn't undo all of my coding I've done over the last two years. FML.

Is this doable on a 2015 750? I’ve seen it coded on a 2012 but I think the 2012 had a radar sensor for ACC. The newer cars appear to only use the camera in the mirror.

I’m trying to purchase a 750 in canada and want to be able to add this in with a European steering wheel. In the future.

I’ve seen driver assistant plus as a package on some of the cars, and as long as they have the ACC buttons is that enough? Or does it require additional module?

Just in the FWIW department, I got TJA working on my '15 MY using the Quidzel chip. I have it coded to work up to 63mph, but above 45 or so, I switch it off as it gets a bit scary. Otherwise, it works well.

Ditto! I just installed the Quidzel module on my F15 as well. My first time using E-Sys to VO code, but the guides here were extremely helpful and everything worked without issue.

I'll echo the comments above about higher speeds and turns, the system doesn't support them well. For its intended purpose in traffic it works great though! I just wish there was a little more "smoothness" built into the distance keeping algorithm. It would be great if we could find some FDL codes that adjust the rate of acceleration and deceleration and/or allow a bit more variation in the following distance as the vehicle ahead of you slows or accelerates.
