What is that white thing you have in yours, probably from your donor picture, I think if the inside was darker it would look a lot better, that inside & rad makes it look like something is missing but in stock shots and everyone else's shots, inside is not as visible.
It looks really good like that with black on black.

It's a part of the inside. The image I took it from that had a decent real pic of the front was a bit smaller and had a slightly left angle which is why it's so noticeable. Sorry . http://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=982227

Also, to be totally honest, I think the titanium/chrome grille matches much better for the X-Line for Black Sapphire because it's a much more luxurious contrast/look.

The only way it would flow well for the black kidney grilles would to be wrap the lower portion and lower grille's in a gloss black wrap.

@opasha Ur car looks stunningly better with the black ones!
Also noticed the lower grill design is a newer design approach which i really like, wish theyve done it with msport as well. New x4 msport has that type (newer design). Am sure x6 msport as well

I agree, this is why I said it actually looks better on no-line or even lux line, but I think it still looks noticeably aggressive. After reading all this I don't think I'll take on the challenge, though.. Sounds like a lot of work to do.

PS: That license plate is so out of place and I didn't want to airbrush it out since almost everyone is required to display them (I should know, I paid over $400 in tickets)

Yeah, that 50/50 one looks average. I think it's best to stick with one full color for the grilles .

I still have the black/stock grilles and haven't really been thinking more about this.

It would, however, been interesting to know if the inside/back of the grilles in other cars look like this and as my car does
(same image as posted earlier in this thread).

The plastic-bar shown kind of completely covers/blocks the last 3 clips so I don't know where to look/search for the remaining clips on the underside.
Maybe I am trying to find the clips in a completely wrong place...

lol GOOD LUCK getting the old grilles off. I had to yank mine and while doing that the clips broke yielding the old chrome grilles unusable anymore. Thankfully the M Performance set will be staying on for good.

True, there are quite a few pics of space grey with the m.grills, but I am struggling to find any of glacier silver. Anyone?
