Ah, couldn't sell those. 2.7% difference in the front and 3.4% in the rear for the circumference. The yoko blue earth have winters to spec, there is a set for sale in the forum and I may also have a set for sale before winter arrives.

Yea i have a few offers but i'm leaning towards running the 612s for winters. I would have to get asking or very close to it to sell these, they fit in the corner of my shed way better than i thought. Then I'm going to buy a cover for the smoker and move that to the deck. I know i have my eyes on those tires. What would your selling price be?

Hoping it's not too dumb a question (or action): so I have a F15 sDrive with 21" 375s, and MPSS. I went into a used nearby tire place since I needed to replace my front set. Thinking my memory is perfect I asked for 275/35/21 and that's what I got. I'm just realizing these had to be 285/35/21. The rears I've had for a while, these are normal 325/30/21.
I drove away and didn't notice anything odd.
Did I screw up that bad?? Rotation is not affected by the tire width, right?

Rotation is affected by aspect ratio, which is a proportion of width. This is a big difference for you on this mistake. I'm not sure how it plays out with the front and rears being not to spec, but your mistake in the fronts is an 9.2% decrease in the circumference which leads to 8.5% increase in revs per minute. If you look at just the fronts tires, they will wear faster and speedo would be reading slower compared to actual speed; at 60mph you would actually going 65mph - again that's just taking the fronts into account. A percent change this big would not be recommended.

Sorry gqgambler, I wrote the size of the front set wrong. It's not 275/25, but rather 275/35s. Will this change the outcome??

Keep us updated if u run the bigger tires on those 612m I would like to know how they fit. If I can fit some all season tires on them I'll keep my set also.

Gotta work on that memory
This is more tolerable of a change. Your mistake in the fronts is only a 1% change in diameter and circumference. Only leading to a difference of 7 revolutions per mile. Speedo would not be significantly affected until your cross 90mph and at that time it you would be going ~1mph slower than its reading in relation to the fronts.

Yes, Need to pick up more Sudokus!!
Got it - so no need to go and replace the front tires because something may be damaged. That was my concern.
Thanks!

No problems for me either. 295/30/22 & 335/25/22 with Pirelli Scorpion Zero on HRE P201s.

I am late to this discussion, however. Woefully so.

I used this setup for the winter (with the OEM 21" for summer). Pirellis are no longer available and I need a pair for the back.

Has anyone found an all season replacement for 335/25/22? It snows rarely where I am, so I don't need a dedicated snow tire.

Ok - after towing my X5M with 22 Velos and Toyo STIII and thinking X-drive was fubar... i realized while cleaning the car that the tire shop had installed the wrong front STIII! Turns out they had ordered 35 aspect instead of 30 and that caused all sorts of grief due to the 5% difference from rear.

A 295/30 is only 1.4% different and my car is seemingly back to normal. I'm hoping no permanent damage, but the drive to work today was uneventful

The shop claimed there were only 7 fronts remaining in the US and I got 2 of them so there is a chance you might have availability issues

I was just on the CarID site and noticed a few other options for 22s. Anyone have experience with the Lexani, Lionhart, or Atturon tires?

https://www.carid.com/tires/295-30-r...ize=335-25-r22

I don't read all the of threads and posts but I only remember seeing folks run the Toyos (which I have), Pirelli Scorpion, and there is a third with a German sounding name that I cannot recall.

FWIW, CarID says they have a quantity of 99 of the Toyo fronts (295/30r22).

Good to know there are more Toyos - I ordered mine a bit over a week ago

The ST III look great (yeah oh so important...), but more importantly are M&S labeled which means I can get past checkpoints in the Sierras w/o chains, but still have reasonable street performance and excellent wear. They are also quiet and don't have the runflat tire harshness and increasingly louder noise as they wear in. Finally, the price is more than reasonable!

I have the original 21" Pirelli P0s on OEM wheels, but not sure I'll ever get around to trying them out

Question... does anyone have a photo of the following: Front 285/35/20... Rear 325/30/20 on the stock X5M 20" wheel?

Will these do? Was able to pull them out of my phone's trash as I recently deleted them. Don't roll on them anymore and sold them.

Honestly, I would NOT recommend 22" wheels. They look amazing, but ride quality is poor and I've been freaked out a couple times by slamming into a couple above avg height expansion joints. Even with tire pressures jacked up, it seems like it hits the rims or at least sounds like it. We don't really have many potholes in CA, but if you do, that would be another knock against 22s
I'm still slightly out of height spec difference after getting the correct fronts. I seem to sense a very slight pulling under full throttle, but it could easily be flashbacks from the 5% diff that caused the car to wander like crazy as the computer tried to re-aim the car. Definitely try to stay at the recommended range

Hi guys, any problem running 295/35/21 front and 325/30/21 stock spec on rears?
my F85 has stock 21' wheels I hate the fact that there is no other tire choices than pss, I want to run PS 4s tires.
