P&W Foreign Cars is the only dealer we have in Pittsburgh actually. Most of our PA dealers are at the other side of the state.

Thanks. I'm somewhat familiar with Dinan toys but this will not void the warranty?

Dinan offers a factory matching new car warranty (4YR/50k). It comes down to if something goes wrong during that period either BMW or Dinan will foot the bill. If BMW NA determines failure was due to a Dinan part we simply step in and cover the cost.

It should be noted that CPO warranties and extended warranties are a completely different animals though.

In Australia, our dealerships have no advertised connection to DINAN, or any connection at all. That said, would you still warrant your product if BMW won't cover a related part when purchased from an Austrlaian DINAN distributor?

At the international level (outside of BMW NA's domain) the warranty aspect is a bit different. Ultimately the products outside of the US/Canada would hold a 2 year product warranty (does not cover incidentals like the factory matching warranty). Basically, the same warranty you would get from any other performance product from other brands.

While, technically, if the international dealership is willing to play within the programs framework it is possible to still have the factory matching warranty outside of North America the framework of laws does not exist elsewhere that protects its viability/functionality.

So you don't warranty CPO vehicles or new vehicles on their extended warranties? What's the deal with that? Kind of reads like Dinan prefers for BMW to handle things...not confidence inspiring.

Please correct me if I am wrong! As a potential customer, the warranty is critical to me. I don't want to end up with a car BMW or you won't cover under warranty.

Extended warranties for the most part are through a third party which we have no affiliation with and they are worded specifically to be void upon any aftermarket part.

For CPO warranties...We used to offer a matching warranty to the CPO coverage but it was requested for us not to offer that program anymore. This was probably a decade or so ago at this point. You need to look no further then BMW's own tuner brand, Alpina. Alpina is not able to be CPO'd and that is a factory car. Tuned is tuned in BMW's eyes and should never be within CPO. They are consistent in that at least.

@Dinan ... How will your springs differ from say ACS or H&R?
For all practical purposes they will be very similar to ACS but slightly more aggressive. ACS lowers the car .5-.75" whereas the Dinan springs will lower the car .75"-1.0". Dinans goal in suspension systems has always been to retain suspension travel and thus drivability by pairing the spring rates of the springs and bumpstops in unison for a factory like ride. In the end you get a smooth ride while reducing the ride height and improving cornering ability / reducing body roll with none of the typical pitfalls of a suspension that lowers the car way too aggressively for the primary goal of, "the look".

wdimagineer may be able to chime in on the ride quality since hes driven on the springs / bumpstops a bit. I know he said hes not a huge fan of lowering in general so I would imagine his feedback will be more critical then most which for our purposes is exactly what we desire.
Hey,
Would this exhaust work with the 2016 X5 50i?

It will not. We looked into it hopefully fitting both car variants but the only part part of the exhaust assembly that would carry over would be the can. Inlet pipes, outlet pipes and tips would all be different from the M to the 50i. Also, the stock tips are fully enclosed by bodywork on the 50i which limits possibilities to use large diameter tips.

The notes say both clips are Dinan Exhaust, the second includes the Dinatronics tune. They should have included the stock exhaust sound in this video, because I can guarantee there's a significant difference.

I have the exhaust on my F80 M3 and it's night and day. A huge improvement.

Are all quad tips functional? The Dinan exhaust for the E90/92 M3 had two dummy tips. It looked silly but sounded great

All tips are functional. The E9x M3 dummy tip thing was an anomaly.

Nice! You will enjoy, I am sure. Let us know what you think once you get the car back and have had a chance to "stretch its legs".
