MVRT’s F85 Build Log

Figured I’d start logging this build since I’ve never really done that for any of my previous cars.

Picked up my ‘16 F85 in Donington Gray with Black Leather after trading in my ‘21 Supra in July of ‘22.

Since then I have added the following:

• RK Carbon Fiber Intakes
• Rohanna RFX11 20” Wheels W/ Yokohama Bluearth v905 winter tires (FOR SALE)
• RW Carbon Fiber Front Grills
• RW Carbon Fiber Fender Trim
• RW Carbon Fiber Front bumper garnish
• Agency Power Catted Downpipes
• Custom Stainless Steel Exhaust
• BC FORGED EH183 21” Wheels
• H&R VTF Adjustable Springs
• repainted & repaired front bumper
• IND Paint matched front reflectors

Currently working on:

• Custom silicone turbo inlet pipes
• Carbon Fiber Lip Kit

It’s definitely no show car, but it’ll be built out over the next few years as it’ll likely remain my daily.

Gonna try and get back onto posting on instagram once the season starts here in Chicago. Shoot me a follow, would love to get more f85/6’s in my feed.

@stealth_x5m

Cheers!

Looking awesome! Especially that concave in the wheels

Have some RKs on order and just awaiting them to come in. How do you enjoy them?!

Nice! They make the induction noise more noticeable and the blow off way more noticeable. Totally worth it

I was always worried the RK intakes would get wet during driving in the rain?

I would not worry about it, drove mine through rain and snow without issues. Even if water got through the filter it would such finite amounts that it would likely evaporate before reaching the throttle body.
