2018 X5 35i strut and bushings replacement question
Hey Guys,
I'm getting my struts and bushings replaced under warranty. The service advisor stated that an alignment is not covered under warranty, but it is recommended. Should I just get the alignment done at the dealer while the car is there? Where is the best place to get the alignment completed for the lowest cost? Thanks in advance guys! Appreciate it PS. Are front tension struts the same thing as the front shocks? |

I'd recommend having them do the alignment - it's not that much and will protect your tires and make the car nicer to drive. I took my '15 35d in for an alignment in the fall and it was $225 CDN. You can get them cheaper but the dealer will have the correct equipment to do it right. I think it's something that's recommended for these cars fairly regularly. Nice they're giving you new stuff under warranty…makes a cheap repair.
