Alen E90 Truthfully, I did it for show entries. I'll be the first to admit that this would be the WORST steering wheel for auto-cross.

I went black stitching to not be "loud" and be more discreet. I also chose to stay with black leather so it's less noticeable and doesn't take away from the attention of my seats. My idea came from the new vulcan super car. Seen below. My seats being done/painted, seen as the last picture below.

Not just bad for autocross but crash performance as well. As you say, I would only use when parked for a show.

Nice craftsmanship though.

Yes, I can't stress that enough. I can imagine if the airbag inflated there would be no support for the top portion and it, perhaps may not perform as expected.

Then again the force of the bag deploying is so great it may not need support? Who knows but I'm not willing to find out. So I'll just use this going to and from shows.
