US April Allocations?
Please excuse if this question has been answered but 2 dealership (Doylestown, PA and Princeton, NJ) indicated there were NO M2 allotments added in the BMW April Allocation Report (4/5) - I was told this yesterday. I'm 4th on one list and 3rd on another.
I'm told it's questionable whether I'll even be able to order in 2016... those of you far more knowledgeable than I, please contribute. many thanks, tnt |

Not sure.
Seems like a lot of the dealerships don't know what their allocations are. I'm on 4 waitlists here in Houston. 3 of the dealerships don't know what their allocations are, and have not even received their HEA cars. 1 dealership outside of Houston has a PCD delivery later this month, but doesn't know allocation status either. I'm around 15-18th on 3 of the dealerships and 3rd on another. So yeah..... If they don't know anything within the next few weeks, I might have to get myself a pre-owned 2015 M3/M4 or a new Macan S. |

Depends how many allocations your chosen dealer was allowed. After the HEA, my dealer got 5 customer allocations for the year, with first one assigned a couple days ago. I'm 3rd on their list so expect a MY2017 order in July/August.

I feel you man. I've been riding this roller-coaster for what seems to be forever and thought for sure I'd get an order in this month. There's always next month!

Spoke with my CA last week he said his allocations usually come out on the 10th of every month so he should have some more info next week. This is just outside of Philly. We will see fingers crossed

Each dealer is in a different situation based on their M sales. If your dealer is a low volume dealer than it is possible that they will get one or two 2016s so it is tough to determine. Having said that BMW could begin pumping out allocations in the coming month or two that would fulfill much of the pent up demand, I doubt they will but it is possible. My main dealer is a very high volume M dealer (one of the highest in the country) they have been told they are getting 11 2016s but from what I heard a few weeks ago they haven't been given new allocations beyond the HEA yet. I will email my guy today and report back but I still think it is too early to read into this. I prefer a 2016 but I have told my dealer as long as I get a car this year I am good, they have assured me I will so we shall see.

any other reason for preferring the 2016? I will need to check the maintenance change for 2017. I am hoping to get an allocation soon, but looks like "maybe" next month for me as well.

Current 4yr covers wear and tear on belts/brakes/wipers/etc. New 3yr one doesn't
Got a call from my Sales Advisor. Said his dealership will get around 10 this year (One of the bigger ones in the South). I'm 18th. If no one drops out about 18 month wait for me. And the M rep that BMW sent with a demo M2 to their dealer said that the reason the southern states haven't seen any is that they are being produced or in the process of being shipped over. East/West coast had deliveries first. |

Just posted this in a different thread but...
A lot of Northern Dealers did not get allocations. While Western, Central and Southern, region dealers did. |

Yes, I would like to know this as well. All I have seen are april allocations with May builds. Do we have anyone around that got a May or June allocation and a later build?

Hi everyone---just wanted to provide some details.
I just spoke with my CA. I am #1 on the list of a dealer in the Philadelphia suburban area that has significant M sales. Basically, the dealership did not get ANY allocations for customer cars. My CA told me I could buy their HEA car NOW at MSRP if I want it, but it is not the configuration I want, so I am going to wait. He also told me that he searched the system and found that only ~400 allocations were given INCLUDING HEA cars. That means roughly 75-100 or so customer cars, and that's it.... I am going to be waiting until the configurable allocation comes through, but looks like that will result in getting a 2017.... |
