Giving the M2 a bath - water/soap on door sill?
I've given my girl 3 washes since I picked her up and every time there seems to be quite a bit of water on the door sill. From where the door attaches to the frame, to the lower sill with the ///M badge, to up where the door latches. Has anyone else noticed this? I have just been wiping it down, but it seems like an issue to me!

I had water there. And a pond in the well in front of the gas cap.
Basically drying was a nightmare. Water kept driving out from under the mirrors, doors, trunk, and various crevices in the front bumper. So washing is only half the battle????? |

Get a leaf blower...i use it to dry very quickly and get the water out of the cracks. very effective tool. also means less physical contact with the car and therefore preventing swirl marks

My X1 does this. My truck usually gets the hose on the inside too, so no problems there.

After adding supplemental seals (http://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1265176) I get less water under the door. It still gets in, especially if using a pressure washer, but there's a lot less on the ///M kick panel.
