Driver profile when driving with both keys

I'm reading through the M2 manual because I have a month of free time until I get my car. On page 58, it's talking about Driver Profiles assigned to the remotes. I'm assuming the profile is saved in the car and not on the key... but what happens if I drive with both keys? (for instance, when I drive home from the dealership) Will it program both profiles to have the same settings? Or will it skip over the profile feature until I'm in the car with only one key?

The profile is linked to the key in the car at the time you set up the profile.

Also you can choose to use the same profile for both keys.
