Toyo Proxes St III, Anybody running them

Looking for some feedback. Never been a huge fan of their suv tires but severe lack of tire options for those with 22’s.

Biggest compliant in previous toyos was they were pretty loud

That’s what I’m running and I don’t have any complaints. The tread pattern looks really aggressive.

Yep, so far they've been great. Had them about 4 months now. Did the same thing, reached out to some guys on here and nobody had bad things to say so gave them a run. Fairly cheap compared to other options as well.

Almost 6 months and over 6000 miles, so far they have been great in hot and wet conditions.

Are you guys running these in the 22" setup staggered
295/30/22
335/25/22

I had set of Toyo's St2 on my FX35 in 285/40/R22 and returned them. Just to loud sounded like huge mudding tires. Wondering if the St3 are any better?

I run my STIII staggered like you said 295 and 335. It runs great and no road noise or none that really bothers me. Works great in snow too.

I wish I coulda got those here. All that was available in those sizes for me was off brand tires or the Pirellis, which I went with

Great thanks have a short list of tires that are reasonable priced for new setup 22 coming. Toyo's tread pattern is bit aggressive was worried about highway speed road noise.

I'll be replacing my Bridgestone with these. Everyone I reached out too had nothing but good things to say about them. It was between these and DWS. I wasn't feeling the soft side walls on those so hoping the Toyo's will be a tad stiffer plus I like the aggressive tread pattern I think the ST III's were release to fix the noise issues of the ST II's.

Thanks for the snow intel - I've been looking for a good all season tire for my 22's. Right now I am running 295/30/22 Pirelli Scorpion Asymetrico and they are very bad in the snow. I wanted Continental DWS but they don't make it in that size. This will most likely be my next tire choice.

I've been running them on 22" Vossen's for ~20,000 miles. I'm very happy with them besides the noise which has gotten worse as time goes on. Performance wise they're great. Snow, heavy rain, hot & cold weather, etc.

I've been thinking of replacing them early (still have good tread depth) just because of how loud they've become. It's why I'm browsing the forums today - looking for new tire options

They are quiet. About the same as the runflats to be honest. At least brand new they are, I was shocked, time will tell?

First time posting, but I had done alot of research prior to pulling the trigger on some Toyo Proxes ST III's. I replaced the run flat Michelin Lattitude HP's. I am extremely happy with them so far. They are much quieter than the Michelin's and the ride is night and day difference. I was concerned whether they would be stiff enough to hold the corners like the Michelin's, but they have exceeded my expectations. My only concern is about tire rotation, they are marked left and right on the outside of the tire, so I am wondering if the tire will have to be dismounted and rebalanced to rotate the tires? Anybody got any experience with how these will be rotated?

I think your correct because the tread pattern ST3 are directional. So if we do a staggered setup they'd have to be dismounted and flipped to rotate. Stinks because hate dealing with tire shops that may scratch 22' wheels.

STIII are unidirectional, for staggered set up tire rotation is not possible.

I just got a set of Toyo Proxes ST III, will be installing them soon! Can't wait to feel the difference between those and Scorpios!

I have these tires. Road noise seems fine in my opinion. I won't even offer my thoughts on grip and whatnot because I am too uneducated/inexperienced to assess tire quality. Seems good enough to me but what do I know?

I guess you just replace in set of 2 or 4 as needed. Luckily the Toyo are not ridiculously priced like Pirelli's and have have pretty good tread life.

Got my wheels and tires on. You guys are right about the Toyo's being great tires.
I am looking for recommendation for optimum tire pressure for following aftermarket wheel setup. Looking for best pressure for front and back for both ride, performance and tire longevity.

Running staggered setup.
Tires: Toyo Proxes ST III
Wheels: Forgestar F14 22 Inch Custom Wheels

Front: 22x10.5 with 295/30/22 tires
Rear: 22x12 with 335/25/22 tires

Thanks in advance.
