One day, my dream is to own another ALPINA. In the states, it is very rare to see an ALPINA on the road. Pretty much all ALPINAs in North America before 2007 are all grey market.

It's a different breed of vehicle, tuned for speed with grace and civility. During, the 90s, I was fortunate to own a B6 2.8 e36 but sold it to fund newer cars. My dream is to own a B3 twin turbo of the current e9x body but sourcing and importing one to the Philippines may be tough.

so it starts out life as a 330/328 depending on what year it is. Shouldn't it be a 335?

Alpina produces very special cars...

Alpina is using the new biturbo diesel engine for 3 series

D3 Biturbo: 214 hp 450 Nm 0-100 6.9 sec 244 km/h top speed

Also modifies 335i and names the model B3 biturbo

360 hp 500 Nm 0-100 4.8 sec 290 km/h top speed

Alpina's special green color is very very nice...

i've seen them in italy and they are IMO head and shoulders above regular bmw's. I've seen only one in the US. if you have one, especially in the states where they are rarer, you are going to get double takes, but most people will have no idea what an alpina is and they might not even notice the difference.

I love Alpinas...since I was a kid, I'd by the alpina scale models!

they seem to develop BMW, to have more power, more luxury, more comfort.
