Why is Dravit Grey an Individual color?

In the February Pricing Guide the dealer shared with me, Dravit Grey is listed as an Individual color. None of the other colors listed (including the frozens) are tagged as Individual. Why is Dravit IND? My understanding is the Individual colors add to the production time. Thanks.

I ordered ia Dravit Grey G82 in November and there were no production delays. The car is presently at the processing facility awaiting release to the dealer. My understanding, primarily from the info stated on BMW’s Build Your Own program, are that frozen colors may affect production times.

Not sure if it really impacts production time, as I ordered a fully loaded g80 6MT and I'm on track to take delivery on March 19th

Same here. My G20 with dravit grey did not experience any additional production time. Was a very quick turnaround in fact.

Dravit, Tanzanite, Oxide Grey and Frozen colours all should be tagged as BMW Individual.

All of these colours, if shown in regular configurator, are part of so called BMW Individual collection, which means they are available through standard orgering process (and dont need longer lead time as Individual colours not from collection). But they are still Individual colours so they are more expensive than standard metallic colours, but they are also more "special" and look amazing.

Then you have special order colours, which are upon request and you will not find them in standard configurator. These will also affect the delivery time.
