Ceramic/PPF Installer in the East Bay Area

Hello. Anyone have any recommendations for a ceramic coating and PPF installer in the East Bay Area?

Thanks!

OCDetailing is pretty well known in the Tesla world for this. They're in Fremont.

I've used both OC Detailing and Premier Protective Films. Would highly recommend both. Neither cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Omega Werks in Pleasanton. They do both PPF and ceramic.

Vince has been at it for as long as I can remember. What I like about them is that it's a small shop, pride themselves in high quality of work and discuss what your needs are and then recommends what would be best.

Because it's a smaller shop and he's in high demand, his waitlist is about a month.

I was planning on using Dynamic Detailing in San Jose (once my car arrives): https://www.dynamicdetailingsj.com/ Good reviews on Yelp and provide pricing on their website that seems reasonable. Would love to hear anyone who's had experience with them as well.

Prices seem very reasonable. It would be a bit of a trek for me but I might consider them.

Anyone used Aegis in Dublin? They claim to use XPEL which has worked great for me in the past.

If you don’t mind me asking, how much did full PPF cost you?

You should email Joe to get the most up to date pricing. He replies pretty quickly. I had the car fully coated and tinted all around including the windshield too.

I called OCDetailing today and I was quoted $10,500 for: paint correction, full PPF + ceramic. Not gonna lie, had NO idea PPF could get that expensive.

Wow. That sounds pretty high. Maybe I won't be trying to bring my car to them.

Full paint correction 2-3k
Ceramic can run 1500-2k

Jeff at Immaculate Reflections out in Brentwood does great work if you're looking for EAST east bay.

I got mine done at Detail Maniac, but its all the way in Sac. And they are pretty well booked up. The had my car for about 12 days. Full STek DynoShield, and DynoFlex on the outer windshield. Door handles, headlights, tail lights removed, and all badges replaced, and wing removed. Everything was removed so the STek could be laid down without seams, and all edges tucked and rolled under. Wheels removed, polished and coated. Feynlabs ceramic infrared heat lamp cured. Grill slats polished and PPFd. Black window moldings also PPFd.

$8,500, which may or may not be a little negotiable. I paid $7,000, but I also referred 3 people to them that all spent at least $5,000 with them and I received a veterans discount. Retired military.

I also used Detail Maniac for my PPF on my F80 Euro bumper

Can attest that their wait list is pretty long. Small shop, good folks. Can be hard to get in touch with at times.

Are there any shops that can be recommended around Fairfield?

I live in Redding so I guess Chico may be doable as well.

Thanks for all the input!
