I don't want to buy from a dealer

but I want to buy a nearly new 330i saloon, it would appear there is no choice , you have to go to a dealer. It seemed only a few years ago you could pick up a decent car from The Sunday Times classified or Autotrader.

What has happened to that source for cars?

apparently they cut everything up and give sub quality shit man.

Well I just got a car sourced by a local dealer NON BMW and I must admit was the perfect experiance.

Plus saved me a shed load of cash.

The best thing is my car had even been approved used car check on it by Park Lane and was over £2000 pounds cheaper and higher spec than park lane was selling.

Near Iver in bucks

They Have losts of Porsches bentleys have a few 530d in stock and 6ers They sourced my car for me.

I can put name and web site if people want to know but dont know what rules are on this I know some forums can be funny about it.

Nothing against dealers, just feel they will try to fleece me if they can and they tell porkies (even if they dont I just feel i cannot trust one).

A few years ago in 2002 I bought a two-year old 5 series old shape from franchised dealer who was about 100 mile away from me. when I got it home the wife with her eagle eyes noticed the boot shut lines on the left were bigger than the ones on the right. Took it to a local dealer/body shop and they said it had been in a rear end shunt ans there was no way to commpletely fix that problem. So then I spent many weeks of angst and hassle trying to get the selling dealer to fix the problem. It shhok my confidence.
