Asked my dealer to order 50 and 60 for me to see what comes first

As of Monday - They put me in the order bank for the 60 as 1-sold, no allocation right now and they tried to order a 2022 50 and the system said they are sold out. Need to wait until they unlock 2023 50. I told dealer I am happy with whichever comes first.

If anyone knows of a dealer that has a modifiable 112 status 60, please let me know.

Thanks,
DJ

3rd option

Forgot to add, if the wait ends up going too long for the iX, I will order an X5 45e.

I have done the same thing, but was told by my SA that far fewer people are interested in the M60 at this time. He estimated I may have the 60 before the end of the year, or very early 2023. Order books for the 60 aren't open quite yet, I think maybe next month?

I had the same situation, but both entered production about the same time! I actually decided to go with the 50 because I don't think I'll actually need the performance of the M60 in the city of Chicago-- I would just get into trouble. So I have an available M60 in production now, the build code is ER18DYE0 if you are interested. Dealer is not charging over MSRP. Dealer is in the Chicago area. It will finish production May 20- expected delivery 60 days after or so.

I did... haha, I like the funkiness. So my problem is, I ordered from two different dealers and I haven't told the M60 dealer that I'm going to take the 50 from another dealer.. I thought it would be nice to call her with better news if I know of someone that would take it immediately. Are you in the Chicago Area? How interested are you? The deposit is $2500-- of course it will be applied to the purchase at delivery. I did everything over the phone.

Awesome! Lets wait about 24 hours for the original poster to reply, I feel that is the polite thing to do. @djse60 interested?

How do I look up the build? I prefer the range and don't need the power, but since I am financing it and the price is close, I think 60 will be better investment for me. Very interested in yours. Thanks.

Hi, sorry, Just seeing these. Not sure why I didn't receive an e-mail on the response. Was this something you were interested in djse60 or should I proceed with Ditlo?

I love those blue seatbelts! Seriously.

I get the following message still when trying to PM:
"Thank you for verifying your account!
In order to use the PM system and be a full fledged member of this community, you will have to make 4 post replies and wait 1 hour for your account to be upgraded."

So I'll hit you up tomorrow, as I am heading out. The car will be yours. I just have to call the dealer after we speak. I'll PM you as soon as I can.

Sweeet! Good timing, I'm still being told next year and my lease is running out soon.

FYI, Turns out it's 10 post replies to turn on PMs not 4, learned that the hard way.

Sorry for delay

Hey sorry I was traveling for work today, just getting back to my PC. Saw the config, not into the bronze exterior. Wished they were black, you can move to other person.

No idea where all my old posts went, I've been a member forever. But my account was inactive for many years. I was here back in the day trying to figure out how to code my X3

Going off topic now but I was here a few years ago for the same and my 5 series. Ready to get back into it, interested to see what's possible with idrive 8.

I like that BimmerCode exists now. I have the cable and a usb c to Ethernet adapter. When I did my X3 in 2014 I had to find a windows 95 laptop and a whole lotta luck. I got all the coding done! Fold in mirrors on remote lock, close tailgate with fob, rolling down all the windows and opening sunroof holding unlock on the fob, and a few others.

Just curious, when did you place the order for the 50 and 60? Like Ditlow, I am in southwest Florida and told I can’t get a 2022. I placed a $2500 deposit in early February for a 2023 but told it will be at least May of 2023. I can’t wait that long as my lease is up in October. I am thinking I have to cancel and pick up a new through a broker or slightly used this fall.
