Apple map integration/route planning
Has anyone been able to get this functioning? Seems like the answer is probably not. But it was announced last year and I keep checking after a iOS update and the myBMW app update and still am not seeing. Would be really nice feature add though.
For those not aware, the details are outlined here: https://www.theverge.com/2022/3/21/2...ach-e-charging And here's Apple's support article: https://support.apple.com/guide/ipho...hc5e3a4b4b/ios |

Heard about this on various EV podcasts - looks like BMW hasn't done much/anything at vehicle level to integrate with CarPlay.
Guess they'd rather you used iDrive for nav and SoC info. |

I have found the iDrive nav to actually be really excellent. I often will have Google/Apple maps running while iDrive nav is routing so I can compare the directions. And iDrive is usually pretty spot on.
That said, would still be great to get this integrated! |

Maybe it's a country thing but in the UK, it incorrectly warns of road closures/doesn't update quickly.
No issues with the other mapping apps. |
