Hi, I have just been informed that my built slot has been cancelled, has anyone else had the same problem?

I have not heard this, but OP is in the UK, so maybe they are prioritizing the US orders?

I am waiting to hear if my allocation for an M60 is available today. Last Friday they were pulled for a week, so who knows at this point? Hopefully I am able to post my build later…

Ouch. They cancelled my ‘50 order a few weeks ago because I had B&W on my order. They wanted me to place a new order with the ‘23 prices for December delivery (my order was due this month). When did you place your order?

Is there anyone in the US with an M60 scheduled for production at this point? Did certain dealers get allocations long before others? My dealer has had a steady stream of xDrive 50s for the past month, at one point they had eight that quickly sold, but they haven't had a single M60 allocation given yet.

I placed my order on 31st March, the car was showing to go into production in Week 25 – 20th June.

Quite a late order then. I’m guessing the first load of orders may have been unaffected. When I ordered my 50 (last week of February), a ‘60 order was looking like it’d be October delivery. My 50 order was cancelled the week it was meant to go into production. If the first bunch of ‘60s *were* built then they should already be on their way to customers in the UK over the next few weeks. Your best bet might be to ask your dealer if they have any 60 stock coming in or to keep your eyes peeled on the BMW new car stock feature on the main website.

Only if you stay with your current dealership, realistically. No other dealers have an incentive to match it. This is what pushed me to go with the car I did (a car that my dealer was already getting that was close to my 50 spec).

One poster recommended looking for a cancelled order - in the UK now - I would say that was good advice. Wish you the best with your search! P |
