Just yesterday took delivery of our Sosphisto Gray iX. Love the way it drives except for one thing. I'm not a fan of the auto braking system. Really wish there was a way to cut it off or at least dial down the affectivness. I'm hoping for someone to find a way to code it if BMW doesn't give the option.

You can just set regen to low, and turn off adaptive.

Unfortunately, I can't find that option. It may not be possible for 2022 models in the U.S.

Looks like you're driving using the "B" mode. Try "D".

WHAT?!?!?! HaHa! You can tell I have no clue what I'm doing. I know nothing of a B or D mode. I'm definitely going to have to dig into the car manual after work today.

Yeah, it is definitely something you can change. You can drive in D mode and adjust your braking in the settings. Or you can drive in B mode with max brake regen, which I personally don't like. I use D with adaptive braking.
