Is the width of the ftp chargepipe

Hello bmw owners!

I recently bought a ftp chargepipe from speed industry to increase the boost and the bottom part isn't fitting in. I was doing some pulls in the car and it doesn't seem as fast in the 240. Are the ftp chargepipe different for the b58s?

a charge pipe isn't going to increase boost. they won't really do much of anything except look nicer than stock.
