First track day for G80 M3 comp xdrive

Hello all,

Not new to the track, but may need to track my wife's G80 M3 since my C8 Z06 is back at the dealer with an oil leak and P0700 trans code.

Couple questions - does the ebrake engage automatically on the '23 cars? It doesn't appear to...

What is the preference/ quickest for track times? Sport Plus in Xdrive or 2 WD mode?

My F90 used the rear brakes for the TC and it ate a set of pads in a weekend. Same with the G80?

A friend of mine took his M4 Comp Xdrive to the track and the car didn't like threshold braking and it freaked out. Rolling up the windows automatically and a synching the belts. There is a track mode that the car needs to be put in, correct?

Sorry for the newb questions - I did a search and didn't see those questions addressed.

Thanks all!

Use 4wd sport. There is a track mode yes. DSC will activate the rear brakes so drive smooth as possible to minimize that. Xdrive is a blast on track. Enjoy!

ps: I do not use the parking brake and use wheel chocks in the paddock. Turn auto hold off.

Thanks for the input!

Can you turn off all the nannies? I assume this will help minimize the rear brakes engaging for TC.

To clarify, the ebrake doesn't automatically set when it's put in park?
