JB4 clear iDrive8 codes

has anyone tried using a JB4 to clear codes on iDrive8, I heard since the ecu is not cracked it can’t do it, I’m specifically looking to clear a CEL light after installing catless dp.

Clearing diagnostics codes doesn’t require a cracked ECU. Any OBD tool should be able to do it. Of course the code will just come right back unless you’ve fixed the problem.

Yup. You can. Just enter diagnostic mode and clear codes in the app. But like stated above, CEL codes cleared will be short-lived.
