IRL vs Valvetronic Exhaust Setup

Which one of the two do you guys recommend? The IRL is about $1000 cheaper and supposedly made in the US, and I’ve been watching videos of the two back to back for like an hour now and can’t hear a difference. Does the equal length exhaust not make as big of a difference like it did on the S55 or am I just tripping and need to take a closer listen again?

I have the Valvetronic valved sport exhaust system on my G87 and love it. I am going with the Fi valved catback on my MY23 M240.

I can think of seven off hand (not recommending these, just listing)...Fi, Dinan, Milltek, Akrapovic, Remus, Dahler and M Performance (there may be other that I am not aware of).

I'm personally running mpe and aa dp. Kinda crazy the setup is cheaper than 4 of the systems you listed. Corvette tax was one thing bmw tax seems to be another level.

AWE has stated it’s not in their plans to make one for the m240. Maybe that will change, who knows.

That is cheap for titanium...if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck...you get the gist.

Not a fan of titanium sound, either (just my opinion).

Nice, its an option though. Also I know a while back when i talked to AA they told me they hadn't had a car local for development for their cat back. Might be worth a check if anyone is local to them in FL.

TBF I don't know who you are, they are simply and option I'm sure if you shot them a message or a call they could tell you why they are cheaper than others for ti, no reason to write them off at least they are making parts for g42s. Personally not a fan of the blue'd piping so I wouldn't buy it, personally thought the sound of the valvetronic on the g20 sounded pretty good would debate swapping my mpe to it.

And I dont know who you are if you want to play that game (nor am I postingfor your or anyone else's approval). I provided my comments and opinions just like anyone else is entitled to. If someone lines or benefits from it, great. If you dont like it, that your prerogative.

I personally dont jump on something just because its cheap (and even more so when I have bever heard of the company). No offense, again my opinion, but I would not purchase an exhaust made in China (not saying this is but many of the cheaper stuff is). As I have said, for what is available now, Fi is the best product available (no, not cheap and not fir everyone). I have Valvetronic on my G87 and would probably put them equal to Fi once they release theirs (plus the shipping savings on Valvetronic).

Valvetronic is made in China isn't it? Fi is for sure made in Taiwan.
