My sparkling graphite under the Sun
guys, the sparkling graphite turns into wonderful grey under the sun, attached are couple of pic of my 330 and guess what i have just beated a 3.5 V6 nissan altima the guy went crazy

Nice car!
Also, don't race Nissan Altimas. You just encourage them.

I noticed that too, under sun. The SG has a bit of purple to it. I compare it to the "smoke" grey on my Nissan - very similar in the shade. I also had it side by side with my previous TSX in Graphite Pearl. All of them are similar "graphite" metallic paints. Only the BMW has a hint of the purple.

sg imho is one of those more unique colors, since different colors will show in different lighting. at times i see hints of purple and a brownish color.

mmmmm, me love purple.......
but honestly, i does make the car unique from different lighting conditions. I have no regreds on the color selection at all........but i would choose metallic black any day Tom
