RFT's + warranty is killin me
after searching iv seen some threads of RFT's and bubbles forming. Last week I developed big ones(front passenger+rear passenger). Rear tire went flat and pretty much bursted on me
had bmw assist tow it to nearest dealership and now their saying warranty covers only the front tire since it has some tread left, rear not covered since tread is at a lower limit. is their anything I can fight or argue as far as the bubbles go or am i screwed on this one? Hoping one of you guys can lead me into the right direction. |

If it states a tread depth limit, and even most manufacturers warranties do, then take the warranty you can get and go buy new tires. If you're under the limit for tread depth, then that tire is done, it's lived it's life, you need new tires. Go with none RF, they cost much less. |

Typical Bush derangement syndrome. All Bush's fault. The entire world is in a recession you idiot and democrats are largely responsible for the sub-prime mortgage mess among other things. Each party is not fiscally responsible, both owned by special interests. And my wife already has fake tits.
No more hate though. Good luck with your issue. You never know what situation you can end up in. |

The stock rfts are expensive tires. You can get by with DD for a while mixing the new tires on the passenger side with the old ones on the drivers side, but it is a really bad situation as some of the previous posters have noted. You may be able to find some nearly new tires for much cheaper in the for sale section here. Whatever you do don't buy the 3 new tires from the dealer unless they price match with TireRack. And don't mix rfts with non-rfts.

Do you see anything positive from all this government take over? Things are only going to get worse. I am sorry to get so political, but I'm very passionate about what is happening to our country. People truly need to wake up and get involved and see what's really happening out there. |
