BlackLine (smoked) Rear Lights pictures

I just got the BMW accessory Black Line rear lights (replacement kit) and installed them. i´m not to sure jet wether I like them, so I´ll put some pictures up for discussion. part of me likes them better than the stock light cluster but another part of me says they look 1990´s (Cadillac STS anyone...?)
Any comment is appreciated

wow !!

Tierfreund they definatly look alot better then the standard lights, I bet when you had one side on you could do a direct comparison and these are better.

But I do agree they are not perfect and they do look like a cadillac STS lol.. THe part that bothers me is that it looks like the inside pieces are actually darker then the outside... If it were more even in tone it would look alot better.

I hope BMW makes another set just like this but without the shadow color.. I think these shadow lights suit lighter colors like silver better and a pure clear lens would be better for the darker colored BMWs.

but overall a big BIG improvement over standard

congrats!

That looks pretty awesome! Love how it makes the car more darker and more aggressive in the rear. The standard lights are too bright with the white and red, but this tones it down perfectly. Car looks awesome so far man.

I like them. It makes the tail lights look more "traditional" to me.

I completely agree; something just doesnt fit with me and a BMW having a blinking brake light (or close to it) for a turn signal.

Dunno if the resolution is better, but they look a little better than the pics on e90fanatics you posted.

Wonder if they are available here now...

The pics are the same, but e90post allows higher resolution than the other forums. Thanks e90forum

AND you dropped it!

Not bad. Not bad at all.
For a trailer queen that would be my first choice. But driving 30.000mls p.a. - I think I´ll stick with the boring but cheap and comfortable 160´s

Tierfreund,

I agree with you; I'm not sure if I like them or hate them.
