taking my car into dealership today, have jb3 ..please read

hey guys, i just found out a minor leak or its probably normal

but the leak is on my left engine mount that got onto a little of my chassy

some people is probably a little normal. but i just want to get it checked out.

here is the thing i have jb3, and do not have bt scan tool..

should i just try my luck and bring it in and see what happens...

At least remove the JB3 so it isn't completely obvious if there is a code.

I think they always hook it up to a computer when theres a problem. At least remove the jb3.

And for the post above ......
BMW will not run diagnostics on each car that comes into the shop unless there is a definite code thrown. They will know this once the SA plugs the FOB into the desktop reader.

Remove the tune.

Codes will be stored in the ECU and not displayed on the cluster, definitely remove the tune.

If they show up just once then it's there til their removed. Ask the SA to show you the screen readout of the FOB info next time you stop in .......

No, I used to live out there and always had good experiences @ United & Globe. United is a sponsor on this forum also.

I don't know enough about Nally to give an opinion though.

I would go to whichever you usually go to. It allows you to built a relationship with the service dept.

Always a good idea to remove mods that might potentially void your warranty before going. How do you like Nalley? I didn't have a good experience at United so I started going to Global Imports. Shame because United is a lot closer to my house.
