Looking for tire/wheel suggestions/advice, 2010 328i Sedan……….

Ok guys, here’s what I plan to do. I plan to purchase a 2010 328i Sedan with Z Sport Package sometime in December. However, I don’t like the 17” Style 286 wheels that come from the factory, so I plan to change them. My plan is to purchase 18” Style 287 wheels and Hankook Ventus v12 evo k110 tires, front 225/40zr18 and rear 255/35zr18. Does anyone have any suggestions or see any problems with what I plan to do? These wheels will fit this particular car, correct? Will spacers be required, or recommended, for the front and/or back? If so, what size? I plan to transfer the TPMS from the factor wheels to the new ones. Will there be any problems with that? Any advice or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Also, I will be attempting the sell the factor wheels and tires that come with the car. They will be brand new.

Have you considered any aftermarket wheels for your vehicle? Styles such as M3, M6, & CSL are all popular choices. The optimal offset for your vehicle is anywhere from 35-40 in the front and 30-35 in the rear. You shouldn't have any issues transfering your TPMS from your old wheels to your new set. Let me know if I can assist you further!

Aren't the 189s and the 287s almost identical? Can someone post pictures of these two wheels side by side?

The 287s will fit fine on your e90 LCI without any spacers.

And I've posted pics of the 189 and 287 in this thread, take a look.

Because they look way better and you don't have to worry about terrible roads like some of us in the North!

Yeah, I agree, the 19s do look great. I was a little concerned though that 19s would compromise the ride comfort......

19's + Non-Run flats will be a better ride than stock 17's with RFT's believe it or not...that's what I've heard from a lot of members on here
