Last night I enabled my rear fogs on my US spec E90. I also had some black vinyl laying around so I cut it for my roundels. Now they are Monochrome.

My 2011 model already had the additional white piece mentioned in the DIY, so all that I had to do was snip some plastic to enable the button. These are great for heavy rains or fog to ensure that guy behind you can see you. Also if some jerk is tailgating you at night, flip these on and he should back off a bit.
