All good things must come to an end, but sometimes it doesn't have to be a sad occasion.
Although it's very bittersweet for me to type this and post these pictures, I wanted to share with you guys the progression that my car has gone through from the day I got it til the day I sold it to it's new owner. I had a lot of great memories in this car and every mile was a joy! I wanted to give a shout out to Zoeb at wheeldude.com for being an upstanding guy and hooking me up with a set of killer wheels and tires, Mach III for hooking it up with the suspension and install, JleviSW for the interior pieces, and lastly all of you for the inspiration to help me get my car to where it is today. I've tuned a lot of cars in my day and I can honestly say my e92 was my Mona Lisa. I've loved every minute of being part of the e9x community, every time I log on and see what everyone is up to it makes me miss my e92 so much, but it's time to move onto bigger and better things! Enough of the reminiscing...On to the pictures! Day 1: Taking delivery on March 25th, 2007 at Niello BMW in Sacramento, CA. One of the best days of my life, it was definitely worth the 8 week wait from BMW in Germany! First Photoshoot: Wheels and Suspension go on: It all went down hill for me after I went to my first NorCal MOM, I felt the mod bug big time. Especially after seeing Long Tran's car. Soon after I hit up wheeldude.com and picked up a set of wheels and saw the guys at Mach III for my coilovers. Also picked up my matte black grills from JleviSW. Great guys to deal with! Dropped the car some more and picked up a set of Hartge splitters. Finally got the trim blacked out. Hooked up with Anthony from Canibeat for my first rig shot. This kid's one talented photographer! Right after this photoshoot I switched out the CF Hartge splitters to an OEM BMW Aero lip. And finally a week before I sold the car to it's new owner. I thought it'd be appropriate to take the last set of pictures where I did the first photo shoot for the car. Props to Anthony for the amazing pictures! I hope you guys enjoyed seeing this car as much I enjoyed owning it! Stay tuned for whats next guys! - Phu Last edited by pnguyen; 03-17-2011 at 02:28 AM.. |
