staggered means that the wheels are bigger in the back than the front.

edit: the sport packaged e90s are staggered

sorry

Oh, I'm sorry, it seems as though only the sport package cars are staggered.
Yours is not a sport, right?
I'm not an expert, so I wouldn't be able to tell you what wheels will fit, what ones will be ok, and what ones just won't work.
Post up the specs on the wheels sizes.
Someone else on here will know.

Thanks Nikki!

You're right, it's non SP, so dunno if i'll require staggered, but it's always great to have fatties on the back!!

Here are the specs, if anyone knows if they'll do, that'd be great!! I'd love to my baby some new shoes

SPECIFICATIONS

* NEW CHROME BMW M5 SERIES REPLICA WHEELS
* NEW ORIGINAL BMW CENTER CAPS AND M-BADGES
* M-BADGE INDENTATION
* WHEEL SIZE 18" X 8"
* OFFSET 20 mm
* BOLT PATTERN 5 lug, 120 mm

What's offset?
These aren't staggered 'cause the SP's don't seem to have 'em (according to Nikki's research (thanks Nikki))

SPECIFICATIONS

* NEW CHROME BMW M 3 REPLICA WHEELS
* NEW ORIGINAL BMW CENTER CAPS
* NEW ORIGINAL BMW M BADGE
* WHEEL SIZE - 18" X 8"
* CENTER BORE 72.6 mm
* BMW HUB CENTRIC
* BOLT PATTERN - 5 lug, 120 mm

Thanks in advance!

Hmm, well all I know is the dealer told me none of the new 5 series wheels would work on the e90, but I don't remember why.
I'll ask my boyfriend when he comes home in 5-30 minutes and let you know, unless someone else has responded by then, lol.

Oh yeah??
Hmm, i would've thought that because of the 5/120 bolt pattern, they'd fit.
This is the first time i'm buying rims for a car (my first REAL car )

Hope your boyfriend has some good news 'cause those rims are sweet!
I dunno how to attach pictures, but here's the ebay link:

My boyfriend just called me, so I asked him and he says he doesn't think they will fit because of the offset.

They are really nice, I don't like the chrome though.

Here's how you post a picture:
Right click on the image you want to post and click properties.
Highlight the URL next to where it says "Location:" and copy it (Ctrl-C)
Go to where you want to post it and type [img]
Then paste the URL (Ctrl-V)
Then type [/img]

Voila

Offset is the distance from the hub mounting surface to the centerline of the wheel. I think the manufacturer of these also makes a 38mm offset - that could be a better fit.

Looks like the car sits higher!

on this photo!!!
Are the tires stock e46/m3 staggered tires ?

or e90 staggered meant tire sizes? (on the photos)

OEM e46 stock sizes are
front 225/45R18
Rear: 255/40R18
if im not mistaken for I tried it on mine, the ride was not the same stock feel.
and yeah! the front offset was way off, too much tucked in,
and rides higher

The tires are stock e46/m3 staggered tires. The ride should only be ~0.5 inch higher => (M3_26in - stockOEM_25in) / (half the diameter) 2 => (26-25)/2 => 0.5 inch. I do enjoy the extra clearance over speed bumps and driveways.

I did exactly what you did on both my cars, swap the m3 18" to the e90, I didnt like that elevated feel, I feel match further to the ground. the speedo will be skew so bad that I took it off.

Are you buying spacers for the fronts?
