my day of modding

Been considering many mods as recommended on the forum and finally pulled the trigger. I am not the most machanically inclined individual, but I can tell you these mods were easy and well worth it.

1. Installed blacklines...much sexier in person. Less than 15 minutes to install.

2. Installed sunglass tray...nice addition here. Less than 30 minutes to install.

3. Charcoal filter delete...felt 'ballsy' so I did it...seems like it makes a difference (maybe it's mental ). Less than 45 minutes.

4. Installed roundel tire valve caps...easiest one of all. Less than 1 minute.

Anyone considering any of these mods and haven't done them yet, do them. No photos as we have all seen what these mods look like.

Thanks to the DIY posts! This forum rocks. :rocks:

Watch those valve caps don't oxydize onto the valve stems. I had this happen on a previous car and the dealer had to change all the valves.

congrats on a good day. On SG, you may want to also consider black/white roundels and black out grilles. Just MHO.

Since there BMW brand caps if something like this did happen no money should be leaving his pocket for the fix. It would be BMW's fault for selling a product that will ruin the valves in the first place.
