n52 motor for sale

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
Hello E90post members,
This is a feeler but if the right offer comes, I will take it. I am looking to see what I can get and if anyone would be interested in my N52 engine from my e90 330i. Engine never had any issues, only has 51k miles on it and is from a clean titled vehicle. I will be doing a swap. Please let me know if you are interested. Thank you

What are you swapping in? I don't see this as being cost effective at all....especially if you're transplanting an N54.

If anything I hope it's the m3 s65 motor. I've contemplated...until I looked at the price tag for the motor and transmission together. Honestly I'd do it if it was just the motor, but of course that's never the case.

Modifying cars in general are not coat effective. This is my project car and not my daily so I am going for it.

You will have to wait and see man. I've narrowed it down to two.

I think the OP wants a sleeper. I say go for it if you have the money but IMO why not just buy a used M3?

The body work is already done, I just want something fun. This car is sentimental to me, I will never sell it, plus, it is very heavily modified, so the engine will complete it. I already have an x6 as my daily, this is my baby. Though very beautiful, I don't want an m3.

I have to keep the ecu for the time being, so it would be just the engine and the tranny.

If mine blows up within the next 2 years and you still have it, I'll take it. I got 160k on mine. Not sure how much more it's got, but it seems fine for now. I'm really interested in your swap. My dream is to swap in one of Dinan's stoker V10s.

Sorry for the late responses, just been very busy. This was a feeler to see if I would get any real interest, the engine is still in the car but for the right price, we can easily remove it. What's slowing the process down is the smog requirements of California, if I could get a sure answer from the state referee, the engine would for sure be swapped. I should know very soon though.

The V10 is an option, it's going to cost around 6k to do the wiring though with a stand alone.
