brake fluid service question, service light on.
My brake fluid service is seheduled for 1/2012(this month), the YELLOW service has been on since decemeber to let me know it's time. I know it's going to turn red soon if i don't get it done this month.
my questions. 1. on avg how much does bmw charge for this service? 2. I know a good independent shop that specialize in bmw that would do it. they said if i want to bring my own fluid, i would need 2 qrts of oem brake fluids. and they will bleed the brakes, preform the service and reset the computer. Is 2 qrts enough? 3. What else do i need for this service besides the 2qrts? how much is a qrt of brake fluid at bmw? thanks |

My Indy charges $135. They supply the OEM fluid.
Two liters/quarts is plenty.
