Well..I hit something.
Was merging onto the interstate in traffic at night, was doing the whole checking blind spot thing and one eye on the road. Next thing is I absolutely nailed something in the road didnt see it or see it coming, it sounded like a gun going off and felt like i had literally lost a wheel it seriously felt like hitting a cement cinder block, car got a little loose cause im guessing it hopped off the ground for a second. Slowed down got over car drove straight and no loss in tire pressure. Come to find out this was the result....Bummer.

ouch.. though that actually isn't too bad. I hit a retread, and it broke my fog light and left a big black mark on the lower part of the front bumper.
Yours looks like it would be easy to pop out from the backside. It wouldn't fix the paint, but like someone said, you can get a pair of OEM style front splitters that would cover that up perfectly. |

As is now, had it popped out at lunch at a friends body shop and have it sitting in the sun, going to get it up on a lift take wheel off, heat it from the back to shape it better and remove all of the black residue after work, which lead me to believe it was a retread i hit. Ill post a final pic

The best I could do, Heated it up from the back, shaped a little more, lacker thinner to get all of the black residue off, couple coats of wax and this is how it turned out. and im going to wet sand the fogs this weekend.

Wow. Great job! Even being as picky as I am, I'd be able to live with that tiny little scratch...easily! I'm glad it worked out for you.

Could have been worse, turned out nice. Like others suggested, go for the splitters and it will really be gone.
