Kumho LX -

Has anyone used these tires? Treadwear up to 60k miles sounds good to me. It's for my wifes e90. I was looking at the Kumho 4x as well, but those are good up to 40k miles.

Hmm.. Overall, the 4x's have better survey ratings than the LX grand tourings.

The Kumho ECSTA LX Platinum would have a slightly softer ride and longer wear than the ECSTA 4X, however the ECSTA 4X has better wet grip, dry grip, steering response and handling.

I have put the LX Platinums on three different cars. Very quiet and good handling for the money. I would buy these again for sure.

I like these better than my V12's and SC3's in terms of noise and treadlife. For a DD, they are great. For really spirited driving, I would go with the 4x.
