New Carbon Fiber Hood

Hi guys, i picked up this hood last week and got it yesterday so naturally i couldn't wait to get it painted and slapped it on last night. I am pretty happy with the fitment finish and quality specially for the price tag i payed for it.

question to you fine gentleman(or ladies) is; someone pointed out to me on facebook the gap between the hood and the fender looks massive, i remember having a gap previously on the oem hood but since it was black maybe it was less noticeable. Any who does this gap look to abnormal or distracting to you guys? or is it about the average e92 gap? and if so is there a way to close it and make it look more flush or closer to the bumper/grills?

UPDATES ON PAGE 3!!!!!

Nice hood.

Open it up and look up. Youll see the latches for the hood. You can turn them to the right 1-2 turns to close the gap. Now look down at the engine bay. Youll see two rubber stoppers that you can also turn to close the clearance. Good luck

the hood will def get painted, not a fan of carbon fiber and black along with the whole front end and roof because the other fender has a crack and some scratches (thanks to a hit and run at the petsmart parking lot)

sticker will never come off, neither will the stance nation one on the back and the small one with the middle finger that says vtec this lol

also i noticed you sell spacers, do you ship to the US? i rolled and pulled my rear fenders and iam ready to ditch the 12mm and get some more poke and drop action.

Sorry to hear about the hit and run. People have no values these days. If you enjoy the stickers then that's cool, rock them. Always good to hear someone wants to add some poke

Btw you got pm'd

No problem.
If you turn them too much it will seem like they dont want to latch. With a strong enough swift push down theyll lock in place.

i tried this(got your pm as well btw) and it worked like a charm 1.5 turns did the trick, the gap is reduced to the OEM gap size and the hood seems tighter and with less play then before, again thank you so much!

i actually compared it to a vorsteiner hood fitment this morning and aside that gap on the front(which was just addressed) the fitment was like 95% the same, i can honestly say i am very happy with it.
