question about changing oil and the odometer

will it reset itself after you change the oil? lets say if you change the oil at 9000 miles and its due at 12000, will the 12000 change to a higher mileage now that you have changed it? is there some way to reset it?

nope it will not reset it self . you have to do it through the cluster

thanks guys. is there a way to reset it? i dont want the hassle of taking it to the dealer just to reset it. i recently had my procede installed and dont wanna take it out just so they can reset it...
