Hell yeah man. It doesn't take much to get a 335i up to equal or better then the M3, and for less than half the price! Looks good man.

The driver of the M3 is 18 years old and makes the payments on it himself. He runs a search optimization company

Having put 40k miles on a 335i in like a year, and after putting 15k on a e92 m3 in 4 months the car [m3] is not straight line (even with my tune + pulley kit + intake) fast...

Have you seen the video of the 335i trying to keep up with an m3 in twisty roads? The 335i crashed lol

I'd say the 335i does EVERYTHING good (and is insanely awesome at bang for your buck in modding), the m3 is Great at a few things and avg. at others. (I spent 5k for maybe 30-50whp/wtrq in the m3) and while it was a noticeable change to at least make you feel like you weren't a sucker, it wasn't that feeling when you sat in your car and loaded up a cobb flash and just CHANGED the car for 300-900 bucks.

still love the 335i and I'm in an f10 m5 right now (and had the one I was looking at not gotten sold from under me I'd be back in a 335i now).

@335iRlz I was thinking of either keeping my 335 and modding it, or buying an M3 in january. You think I should keep the 335? The v8 is soooooo tempting :/

With just a tune you will be just as fast as an m3. Anything more than a tune and you should have a straight line advantage in my opinion

V8 growl is unmatched even now with my f10 I miss that 9,000 rpm range, I had an e60 m5 for 12 days and that also is unmatched... Bottom line the m3 is a head turner even with stock exhaust.

I guess I'd ask you what you wanted to accomplish with the car? Because if its showing up the boys here you'll need to go ESS VT625/650 (something I was contemplating) MINIMUM. If you're over that phase or can take some losses on the street and just want a car that sounds amazing and in stock form will take turns at 100+ with ease that the 335i would struggle with at 70 then I think you'll be really happy with the car. And even though I was slightly underwhelmed as a car on here with $1,500 invested would probably walk me as I'm still in that phase of my life ... You can't deny even putting down barley over 300 wtrq its a funnnnnn ass car.

For me, it's the E92 M3. I fully plan on doing a full suspension swap here sooner or later... then look out!

Although, I love the sound of the V8 though!
