Transformation of my e90 330xi!
This is my BMW 2006 330xi. A lot has been done to it in the past year. The first thing I did was plastidip the stock wheels black. I also matched the grill by plastidipping it black.
I took the plastidip off because I got bored of it and then tinted the windows. I got M3 replica wheels for it ( 17x8 all around). I had them for a couple months but didn't like them after a while so then I picked up some re-finished Style 95 wheels ( 19x9 Front and 19x10 Rear). I think these look great on the car. I have an injen intake, muffler delete, and an Active Autowerke tune for performance. I got D2 coil overs after I got the M3 reps. I'm pretty sure these were made for the i version though because the front coils are all the way down on the treads and still have a 2 finger gap. The first picture with the Style 95s on, the car was sitting on stock suspension. I decided to put back the D2 coilovers to minimize the wheel gap. The rake kills me though. I am planning to get KW V1 coil overs in the next few months and wanting to go tucking tire low, blackline taillights, and a front lip. |

Thanks! And the euro plate is just to cover up the holes in the bumper. I tried plastidipping the chrome trim, but it didn't work out so well lol. I don't like it either

For some reason when I saw the word "transformation" in your title, I was expecting more than your pasti dipped stock and 17" M3 wheel stage LOL...
But I do like the style 95 wheels, looks nice. The rest is meh.

Once you lower the car, I suggest the first thing you do is get rid of that stock front bumper! PRE LCI E90 bumper is just ugly.

Was thinking about doing OEM splitters with a Hamann style lip, sort of a "double lip"

Nah. Just replace it with M3 or M Sport bumper. It'll be worth the wait and money.
That was my first setup when I first got into modding and wasn't happy with the result. It looks cool at first but you'll soon realize it looks boo boo. Lol
