Any opinions on gloss black roof wrap on Mineral grey?
I see a lot of gloss black roof wraps on white or even red F30s.
Anyone have a pic of a Mineral Grey F30 with a gloss black vinyl wrap on the roof? I'm worried it might not even stand out. Thanks! |

It won't stand out but will be a subtle difference where people may look at it and wonder what is different. Not sure what it is.

I don't think it would work on the grey. The reason people do it on white or red is for the contrast. With colors that are similar it will just look mismatched. Just my opinion though...

matte black will prob give you the contrast your looking for, and if you have any of the matte M performace parts it will match them.

I think it would be too subtle looking on mineral grey. I think you need to do something that would be high contrast. I personally have a gloss wrap on a AW and think high contrast will give you the best look. With that being said I do not know what color would look best for you. I hope you find something you like and if you do share a pic with all of us! GL.

Hmmm. Tough decisions. I just bought gloss black mirror caps. I thought it could tie-in nicely with a gloss black roof and my black wheels, black kidney grills and blacked-out rear emblems.

Do the roof and don't look back. You'll love it!
$150 is fair, $200 is the higher end. Anything more is a rip-off.

Gloss Roof Wrap
Hi Guys, I had the same conundrum do I go CF, Black Matt or Black Gloss. I went with the gloss wrap as it blends in with the Sunroof and the trims on my F32 428i M sport. Have a look at my pics and judge for yourself? This cost me $450 in Australia, where everything is expensive #%^!

Yep welcome to the Australia TAX. Wages are high so everything we buy is expensive, My 428i was $98K drive away (Almost $30K of that is tax). But I will admit that our cars are very well specked. Yes I agree about the CF but after looking at several other cars it would have to be a Gloss CF roof. Cheers TC
