Bluetooth problem

I have a May 2007 e92 with bluetooth and a SE K800i phone.

The phone pairs with the car and downloads the address book, no problem

The problem is, 50% of the calls I make from the car dial ok and connect fine but the other end can't hear me and I can't hear them The phone then disconnects from the car and reconnects

Any ideas

There seems to be some problems with certain firmware versions of the K800i.

Some methods of improving the connection include:

1 carrying out a master reset (works temporarily)

2 Bluetooth->My devices->BMWxxxxx->More->Allow connection->Always allow

3 removing all SMS messages from your inbox before connecting- strange, but have a look here

4 a final method is to carry out a SEUS update through the Update service (on the phone or via a PC)

I've got a W880i & have had some connection problems recently, so I think I'll backup the addressbook, do a master reset, remove the pairings in the car & start all over again.

Hope this is of some help.

All the best.

Viv
