BL5000 quick jacks
Has anyone else in the forum tried lifting an F85 with 5000 pound QJ's ?
I have a pair from my E88 days and wondered what the experiences were, if any. Alternatively, does anyone actually know the differences between the 5000 and the 7000 ? Yeah....it's rated higher, but how ? Stronger overall or just the locking bar ? Knowledgeable answers only please. Thanks guys !

i think the 5000 is too short in length. i recall reading that. you can always double check the measurements yourself and compare to the QJ site specs. I think everyone is going 7000 due to the length and load
go to the QJ site and compare the lifts you are interested in. it's better to go to the manufacturer for specs vs asking forum folks

I sent QJ a message so I'll see what they say. I just wondered if it is the locking bar that is stronger in the 7000....if that's the case I know a welder.... :-)
