I do not think that navi upgrade as announced in the bmw press release is relevant for f15, at least not if you order professional navi which is superior to business and has everything in it, incl. the bluetooth streaming music. But I didn't dig into the topic myself so I won't be of much help here.

Actually I Posted about the tyre pressure Monitor being Standard in december, I Was referring To the 16.5 Inch navi. Driving Assistant is Also Standard equipment Now, So I ordered only Stop and Go Cruise Control and cancelled Driving Assistant plus. I actually don't understand Driving Assistant plus as it is more expensive, but You get Nothing extra, or do You? I Think Traffic Jam Assistant is included and So is the enhanced dash. These 2 Things saved me almost 1500 euros.

Spoke to my dealer in the UK and he confirmed the changes apply from 1 April build dates. The price of the car goes up by £375 but they add £1100 of extras, namely heated front seats, driver assistance pack and the US version of the tyre pressure monitor (as opposed to the existing puncture warning system). My order has a week 8 build date and I don't think I can wait a further 6 or more weeks for those extras. The only one that's even slightly interesting is the heated seats which I could add now for less than the £375 increase. My dealer had no idea about these changes until I mentioned them - but they did show on his system when he checked.
I think the changes to the navigation system refer to other models - professional navigation is already standard on F15's in the uk. |
