Are they changing the X5M?
I am getting a new daily driver! Still looking at my options, but the X5M is high on the list.
Just three quick questions. 1. Any word if BMW is going to change the X5M model in the next 3-4 years? 2. How do you owners like the car? 3. Any options, wheels, color, etc. I should look for when searching for a spec? Thanks for all help! |

Color is very personal, what calls out to you? I think the 21s are a no brainer for a no cost option. I did this and added the 20" winter wheel set which is the OEM 20s.

The next generation X5 is starting production the summer of 2018 and the X5M usually lags a year behind so it will be a little while away before we see the next gen X5M hit the roads

I had thought it was earlier - even better, wont really need to contend with a G X5M while i still have the F85.

Depends on where you live, but in CA $5k off sticker would be a huge discount on one, and most dealers aren't willing to do that. My dealer can't keep them in stock more than a week. |

I just picked one up 2 weeks ago and absolutely love it. I had the same concern as you with the new body X5M but from my research it will be at least 2 years.
I also did a lot of research on comparable cars like the cayenne, Mercedes, range rover and none come even close in terms of best bang for your buck. The X5M is a straight up monster. You will not be disappointed. |

Good luck OP. From what I can tell you shouldn't have a difficult time swinging a pretty significant discount. I'm not sure if $15k is attainable, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't try. |

In March, I contacted my dealer(BMW Mnt. View) to see about ordering the M since my 5.0 lease is up in July. They came back with an F-U lease price of $1691 and $3500 down with only 2.5% off MSRP. Last week, I reached out to them again to see if they can work a better deal but apparently, they are too busy selling cars at, or near, MSRP to get back to me! |
