Wrong adblue add to the system and engine no start.

I add the wrong DEF(none BMW adblue) in the system when the car worning 100 mile to go no start, add DEF. Dealer wants $7,000 to replace the whole ADF system.Are there anyone know any other way to fix it?

Ok, you need to give more details.. what do you mean by wrong Adblue? What did you use?

I do not use BMW Adblue, and have not for years and no issue.

$10 its the metering valve, and or the pre and post dpf NoX sensors.

E70 35D problems popping up all over again with the F15. At least this time the emissions system has an extended warranty in the US

Dealer just replaced our NOX sensors under emissions extension (120k) on 93k mile 2015. But yeah, could be the metering valve.

As long as you used DEF and not some other fluid... you did not use the "wrong" fluid. No need to use BMW DEF fluid.
