I was going 148mph when the state trooper was behind me. I've raced many 5.0 stangs in the past If the ECU is stock and just minor bolt-ons the mustang then I should be able to win based off my past encounters. When I was stock on my n55 I had raced 5.0s and they would win after 60 mph so stage 1 did the job for me.
That’s pretty impressive pick up a dragy I’m curious to see what your car performance numbers are.

Interesting...I swear I couldn't hear them before the addition of the downpipe.

How is drivability and in particular throttle response?

Anything I need to know before purchase?

I mainly got the BM3 tune just to have more sound as stock is way too quiet and really didn't care about the performance. But since flashing the tune, there is a huge amount of difference in performance I can tell you that. I do daily drive this car and so it's always in comfort setting, and I do notice it shifts much faster than before. Regarding the throttle response, there is no recognizable difference between stock and the bm3 stage 1. But I am looking forward to changing my stock charge pipe, as I also want to improve throttle response.

It has been a few years since I did the stage 1 BM3 tune, but I remember a big improvement in throttle response. I only drive in sport plus though (in manual shift mode, otherwise the shift points aren't practical for DD) as anything outside of sport or sport plus seemed less than ideal performance wise. I now have stage 2 with catless DP. Very happy with the performance of the BM3 tunes. It's amazing how cheap the power gains are on FI engines.

You're correct, I def here burbles there. Stock muffler? Did you customize the burbles? If so, what setting on the aggressiveness?

Yes, I set the burbles aggressiveness to 3/5, didn't put the burbles to max, but I'm only able to get them in sports plus. And yes stock muffler and everything else is stock. Has the m sport package, but does not have m performance exhaust. Looking to switch the muffler, as the stock one is very big.

I'm stage one with stock exhaust and it bubbles alot. Especially on the highest setting. I only have mine set to burble in sport mode in order to not completely kill the cats. I have MHD Stage 1 since I like the wireless capabilities.

I am looking to get the BM3 tune soon and will likely go ahead and do the charge pipe for peace of mind. Can anyone speak to the process for changing the charge pipe, is it a fairly easy job?

Just installed MHD Stage 1. It has 4 slots for different burble, exhaust flap and power settings.

The pops and burbles are completely tunable to your taste. Without the sport exhaust they are not very loud in the cabin but they are outside. With the sport exhaust open they are pretty obnoxious if you ask me.

I have slot #1 set for the exhaust flap open and aggressive burbles in sport mode. Oh and GTS start up, that's also an option for a louder/aggressive start(reminds me of my old Cayenne).

Slot #2 is same power but flap, start up, burbbles all stock. Oh and linear throttle.

Slot #3 stock noises but 30% reduction in power for my teen driver.

Slot #4 unused.

I'm not a road racer and don't log anything but the car is now fun to drive. It pulls hard even in comfort mode and sometimes fights for traction in sport/s+. The best part is that it feels like it came this way from the factory, not a constant project like the piggy back I had in the past.

I didn't change anything, 93 octane off shelf map. Mechanic says do plugs as standard 30k service soon.
